Academic Merit
Iota Psi has consistently achieved a cumulative GPA above 3.0 since becoming a colony on RIT's campus. Our current academic merit outpaces the all-Greek and all-campus averages, and we currently have the highest cumulative GPA among social fraternities at RIT. Iota Psi has received an award for the highest GPA among all chapters of Theta Chi for two years since it's installation in 2015.
Cooperative Education
Many degree programs at RIT have a co-op requirement for graduation. To help aid in the co-op search, the chapter offers Brothers professional development opportunities, such as resume and interview workshops. Iota Psi has Brothers who have obtained co-ops with companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Lockheed Martin, Toyota, Honda, General Electric, and many more. The Chapter also has a LinkedIn page for networking with active members and alumni.
Individualized Study Plans
Brothers have access to create an Individualized Study Plan and meet with our Scholarship Chairman or Academic Advisor. At the beginning of the semester they can create a plan to improve their academics which may include weekly study hours, tutoring sessions, and metacognitive strategies.
